Anyone have a job for me?

Anyone have a job for me?
My husband went to work today as usual and after working part of the morning was told the company was in recievership and was to cease trading immediately. Without warning.
We have a mortgage and 4 children - 3 who are 3 and under so I need a legit job I can do from home, since we cant afford daycare.
Im great at writing tutorials, teaching (I do have a Bachelors in Education), researching, not bad at designing and I work hard.

Any suggestions :)

So sorry to hear about this. I wish you much success in finding employment.

Sorry to read this ShelleyRae.
I know you're filled with worry, but I'm certain things will work out.

I work from home, but with skills that you don't list; I'm a medical transcriptionist.

You've got really stellar skills and I'm certain you can find the same type of set up that will let you use those.

There are so many opportunities to work from home remotely these days.

You'll get through this. Keep us posted and I'll keep you in my prayers.

God Bless You and Your Family

Oh, ShelleyRae, I am so sorry that you are going through this. My husband is the sole breadwinner in this family and I am always afraid that something will happen to him and I won't be able to get a job because I have been a SAHM for 5 years now. I will keep you and your family in my prayers.

Hugs,
Kait

I'm so sorry for you! We had a rough patch a few years back, and I'd still like to find a full-time spot. I know the time isn't right for me yet. Maybe one of the scrapping mags has a editorial position for you? Or a computer instructor position at a tech school or college level? Even adult education? How about one-on-one tutoring for adults at home? This will work out for you, and maybe open a window to a whole new world, I hope! Prayers...
Jan

You are in my prayers. You are an excellent digital designer, you may be able to forward your resume to companies looking to expand their digital scrapbooking products and services. What about photography? You could use a home studio and set your hours around your childrens' schedule. Good Luck. I'll be praying for you.

I'm so sorry to hear that. I've heard of another designer whose hubby got retrenched too, but it turned out to be a blessing in disguise and the new job offers much more. Hope everything works out for you and your family. Pls take care, think positive thoughts and all the best!

Hi Shelly Rae:

Don't fret...pray. I have been in situations where my husband is the sole provider...he was military. And then he got out. I had to go to work. I just started by own business with the company pasted in below and I love it. I started in Feb and won a trip to Hawaii by Sept.
It's d'essense Perfume, an LMS Fragrances Company. They just redid and reduced their starter kits to the below and the website is being updated. Just visit www.lmsparty.com or www.lmsfragrances.com and know that the updated kit prices below will be added. The great thing is that I have been in direct sales for 15 years or so and I can tell you that they pay better at every level. Plus it is a ground floor opportunity--just around about 3 years--not maxed out like other companies. Call either 1.877.252. 8811 or 1.877.337.7367. My sister is Pati Lynn team #10290. You can sign on for a earning a 45% discount, but can earn up to 20% in additional wholesale rebates.

KITS
If you place a $500 retail order within 30 days of receiving your kit, you will receive $100 CASH BACK for the standard kit and $200 CASH BACK for the deluxe!!!!

1) Standard Starter Kit to $179 plus shipping and handling ($20).

2) Deluxe Starter Kit to $379 plus shipping and handling ($20). This is a $100 price drop from before.

3) Deluxe Starter Kit Plus for $479 plus shipping and handling ($20). In the Plus, you will be able to select your fragrances.

I'm always so sad to hear stories like this, especially from people who are so very generous (as you are). I just know in my heart that you are a survivor, and that you will end up even better off. It will just take a lot of hard work. Just remember that in the end, it's the memories you make with your family that matter. The money comes and goes. I hope your husband gets a stellar new job so that you can continue staying at home with your little ones.

Search the Atlanta AJC newspaper (forget which day - Friday, Saturday or Sunday) for an article about a stay-at-home Mom who makes a living doing web searches for people. Good luck.
